This Tangy bbq Sauce is incredibly flavorful and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Avocado Oil for sautéing
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (or fire cider if you make it!)
  • 3 tsp Liquid Aminos or Tamari (or sub soy sauce)
  • 2 tsp Molasses
  • 3 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 3 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke
  • 1/81/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Sprig Rosemary, minced ((optional))

Instructions

  1. Heat avocado oil on medium heat in a tall pot and sauté garlic for 30 seconds, being careful not to let it burn.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, reduce heat to low.  Add all remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer on low for 15-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens.

Notes

Use BBQ sauce immediately or allow sauce to cool and store in a well-sealed container for up to 1 week in the fridge or freeze for 2-3 months.
