Butterfly Milk

This beautiful blue Butterfly Milk is creamy, aromatic, and with warm flavors of ginger and cinnamon. A perfect winter-warming beverage!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Plant Milk I prefer soy
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Butterfly Pea Flower powder you can also use whole flowers with a tea ball
  • 1 ¼ " piece of Ginger root minced
  • ½ stick of Cinnamon
  • drizzle of Honey or maple syrup optional — I don't think it needs it!

Instructions

  • Mince ginger and add it to a tea ball.
  • Place 2 cups plant milk, 1 cup water, 1 tsp butterfly pea powder, tea ball with ginger, and 1 stick of cinnamon in a small pot and bring to a simmer. Gently simmer on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally so film doesn't form on top.
  • Remove tea ball and pour into a mug. Option to add a little sweetener if desired but I don't think it's necessary!
