2tspolive oil
5clovesgarlic, minced
1cantomato sauce
2Tbsptomato paste
1Tbspdijon mustard
2Tbspapple cider vinegar
1Tbspliquid Aminos or tamarior sub soy sauce
2tspmolasses
1Tbspmaple syrup
1Tbspsmoked paprika
1tspchili powder
1tsponion powder
1tspItalian seasoning
½tspliquid smoke
⅛-¼tspground black pepper
dashofcinnamon
½tsprosemary
Instructions
Place 2 tsp olive oil and minced garlic in a tall pot on low heat. Sweat garlic until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally and make sure it doesn't burn.
Add all remaining ingredients.
Simmer on low for 15-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens. Taste, and add anything more it may need.
Notes
Use BBQ sauce immediately or allow sauce to cool and store in a well-sealed container for up to 1 week in the fridge or freeze for 2-3 months.
